LoveID Q&A

You keep asking us about LoveID – and we’re here to answer. We’ve compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions we receive so you can better understand how LoveID works and why this year’s festival cannot do without it.

From Wednesday at 2:00 PM, you will be able to collect your wristband at the ticket offices in front of the festival grounds. From the same time and at the same location, it will also be possible to purchase tickets on site – both Standard tickets and tickets for holders of ZTP or ZTP/P disability cards. Holders of ZTP or ZTP/P disability cards and their accompanying person are entitled to a 50% discount on the on-site ticket price upon presenting the relevant card.

The price of a full-festival STANDARD ticket purchased on site will be CZK 5,500. A one-day ticket will cost CZK 2,900. VIP tickets will not be available for purchase on site.

VIP tickets usually sell out before the festival begins, so we cannot guarantee that they will be available for purchase on site. We recommend buying them in advance as soon as possible.

According to the current forecast, pleasant temperatures between approximately 20 and 28 °C are expected during the festival. Showers or thunderstorms may also occur, so we recommend checking the forecast regularly and bringing a light raincoat.

The festival grounds in Dolní Vítkovice have mostly solid surfaces, so you do not need to worry about the usual muddy festival terrain. We also have several stages located in tents, as well as other covered areas where you can take shelter in case of rain and continue enjoying the festival.

No, this is not possible. Tickets and festival wristbands are non-transferable and are intended for one specific person only for the entire duration of their validity. Passing a ticket to someone else, taking turns using the same wristband, or any other form of misuse is against the festival’s visitor rules. This rule applies equally to both STANDARD and VIP tickets.

You can manage multiple tickets in your LoveID. However, each festival visitor must have their own LoveID account with their ticket assigned to it. If you have tickets for multiple people, they need to be transferred to their individual LoveID accounts before the festival. Once the QR code has been generated, the ticket can no longer be transferred or sold, so we recommend arranging the transfer in advance.

IMPORTANT: To access the festival grounds, please use the Dolní Vítkovice Hlubina tram stop. It will be in operation from the day before the festival begins, throughout the festival, and on the day after it ends.

Please do not get off at the Dolní Vítkovice stop, as there is no pedestrian access to the festival grounds from there.

The underpass is monitored by CCTV.

HOW DO QR CODES WORK?

For Standard tickets, you can display your QR code in LoveID from Friday, 26 June, due to the pre-festival wristband exchange at Forum Nová Karolina shopping centre. For VIP tickets, this option will be available from Tuesday, 30 June at 8:00 AM. Until you generate the QR code, you can still transfer or sell your ticket. So, if you are not yet sure whether you will attend the festival, we recommend waiting until shortly before the festival to generate it. Once the QR code has been generated, the ticket is permanently linked to the relevant LoveID account for security reasons. The QR code cannot be deactivated, reset, and the ticket cannot be made available for resale again. However, please remember to generate and prepare your QR code before arriving at the festival. This will ensure a smoother and faster entry.

We introduced Face Recognition due to ticket fraud, unofficial ticket resales, and ticket transfers between multiple people. When exchanging a ticket for an identification wristband, a photograph is taken and linked only to the specific ticket and wristband. The photograph is not linked to the visitor’s personal data or their LoveID account. It does not contain a name, email address, home address, or any other identifying information – it serves only to verify that the same person is using the same wristband. Upon each subsequent entry to the festival grounds, the system compares a newly taken photograph with the photograph stored with the wristband and verifies only a visual match. This does not involve the storage of biometric data or any further processing of such data. The photographs are stored on an internal server located directly within the festival grounds and are not accessible via the internet. The system is set up in compliance with GDPR. After the festival ends, the entire database will be completely deleted and all visitors will receive a notification confirming its removal.

As every year, Love by ČSOB will be bigger than last year – and this time, it will take you even further. This year’s visual concept for Love by ČSOB is inspired by circles, symbolising connection, the energy of the crowd and a shared rhythm. At its heart are love, closeness and an embrace – the moment when thousands of people become one. The whole concept also works with the speed of light and a journey through space. The illuminated circles will draw you into a space where emotions, music and energy move without limits. Love by ČSOB is not just a stage. It is a place where we meet, embrace and fly further together.

This year, VIP entry will work differently due to the new entry system. Holders of VIP tickets and VIP wristbands will now be able to enter the festival grounds only through the designated VIP entrance. It will therefore not be possible to enter the festival grounds through the main entrance with a VIP ticket. With a VIP wristband, it is also possible to use the side entrances – the footbridge entrance and the Hlubina entrance. However, these entrances are only available to visitors who have already received their wristband. This restriction has been introduced due to the new photo capture system, known as Face Recognition, which will be set up at the main entrance only for Standard tickets. This rule does not apply when leaving the festival grounds, as no facial recognition takes place upon exit.

If the chip on your festival wristband gets damaged or breaks, please keep the entire wristband and bring it to Customer Care.

We will check the unique number on the other side of the chip, which will allow us to locate your ticket. We will then issue you a new wristband free of charge.

Yes, please visit the ticket office in front of the festival grounds. The wristband can be replaced for a fee of CZK 200.

Yes, LoveID registration is required. Without it, you cannot purchase a ticket or receive one by forwarding.

Yes, you can buy a ticket for someone else and securely forward it to them. In the first waves of presales, you can buy a maximum of 4 tickets per LoveID. In the upcoming waves of pre-sale the quantity will be unlimited. If you want to forward a ticket, all you need is the recipient’s email address—but the recipient must also have their own LoveID registered. The ticket will be removed from your LoveID account and a new one will be created in the recipient’s LoveID account. In other words, without LoveID, you cannot buy a ticket or obtain one by forwarding it. The whole process is quick, simple, and, above all, secure for all parties.

Currently, tickets can be purchased through the Benefit Plus, Pluxee or Edenred benefit program and on invoice. Later, it will also be possible to use deferred payments.

Payments via Benefit Plus or via invoice are usually more time-consuming than traditional card payments, which is why we only launch them in the later stages of ticket presales.

Together with our official partner, TicketSwap, we offer a safe way to resell or buy second-hand tickets. This is the only integrated system available directly in your LOVEID, making both selling and buying simple and secure. In your LOVEID, just select the “Sell on TicketSwap” option. Whether you are passing your ticket on or still looking for one, use the verified option directly through LOVEID.

Accredited festival participants (winners, guests, etc.) will receive an email with a link to their ticket, which they can activate in their LoveID (they have to register and create their LoveID account). Even if you get a ticket for free, you must be registered with LoveID – your ticket will be added to your LoveID. You cannot enter the festival without LoveID.
