BEATS FOR CHARITY 2025 – When the beats are helpful
Behind every beat there can be a story worth hearing. Beats for Charity 2026 is once again opening hearts and space to those who truly need it. We give voice and support to those whose daily realities are filled with courage, pain and strength. It’s not just about financial help – it’s about the message that they are not alone in this.
This year, we are focusing on two powerful stories: the story of four-year-old Míša, who is living with autism and developmental delays, and the story of two-year-old Oliver, who, despite a devastating brain diagnosis, is learning to rediscover the world. Their journeys deserve our attention, empathy, and tangible support.
Míša’s story
Míša was born prematurely and, after a complicated birth, had to face serious health challenges from his very first days. Today, he struggles with delayed psychomotor development, a physical disability, and diagnosed childhood autism. For his parents, caring for him is a lifelong mission. Míša requires constant attention and, due to his autism, often experiences states of inner restlessness that are very difficult both for him and for his loved ones. His parents are facing everything on their own, without wider family support, and yet they do their utmost to give him the happiest life possible.
Use of the financial donation:
Financial support will help the family cover demanding specialist rehabilitation, speech therapy, occupational therapy, canine-assisted therapy, and swimming lessons, none of which are covered by health insurance. The donation will also ease the family budget by helping with co-payments for medication and the special diet that Míša urgently needs.
Oliver’s story
Two-year-old Oliver is growing up in the loving care of his deaf parents, Natálie and David. Since birth, however, Oliver has been fighting a serious genetic brain disorder that caused him to suffer up to one hundred epileptic seizures a day. After months spent in hospitals, he underwent an extremely risky brain surgery in Brno, led by a Swiss specialist. Although the worst is now behind him, his little body remains very weak. Oliver is not yet able to speak or move independently, he needs special glasses, and he receives nutrition through a PEG feeding tube. His parents are now doing everything with immense patience and love to give Oliver as much stimulation as possible for his further development and to improve his everyday comfort.
Use of the financial donation:
Contributions will be used to cover regular physiotherapy and neurological speech therapy, which are crucial for Oliver’s progress. The family will also invest the funds in essential assistive equipment and a specialised stroller, helping Oliver manage everyday life more comfortably.

Dance it up with EPP application for a charitable purpose
At this year’s Beats for Love festival, you can combine the joy of music and dancing with the joy of helping those who need help. All you need to do is download the free EPP – Pomáhej pohybem app by the ČEZ Foundation to your phone and activate it as soon as your body starts moving to the rhythm of this year’s shows, or even when you are simply moving around the festival site.
The app can be downloaded by anyone with a smartphone running iOS 10 or later and an iTunes account in the Czech Republic, or Android version 10 or newer and a Google Play account in the Czech Republic. In both cases, you can find the app under the name EPP. Then simply download it, open it, enter a few basic details, and choose the type of movement you want to collect points with.
The EPP app turns every movement you make into points, which the ČEZ Foundation then converts into a financial donation for selected beneficiaries. This year, you can help two boys through dancing — little Oliver and Míša, who are bravely fighting their battles in life. The financial support will help their parents cover physiotherapy, rehabilitation, animal-assisted therapy, and other services that will support them. The more you move, the more points you can donate to those facing difficult challenges in life.
Join more than 830,000 fans who are already helping with the EPP app! This year, the app celebrates its 11th anniversary, and over that time its users have supported 4,000 projects across the Czech Republic, generating more than CZK 326 million in support through physical activity. The EPP app has also been supported by many famous Czech athletes, including stars such as Jaromír Jágr, Kateřina Neumannová, Petra Kvitová, and Eva Adamczyková Samková.
