Beats for Love 2025 brings a new universe and record-breaking line-up

In less than 2 months the gates of the biggest electronic music festival in Central Europe will open. This year, the 11th edition of Beats for Love will go beyond the ordinary music experience and bring what fans have long wished for but perhaps never dared to say out loud – a world premiere, iconic dance music names and an ultra-modern techno stage that will exceed all expectations. Record line-up? Beats for Love 2025 challenges the boundaries of the possible

This year’s edition of Beats for Love, which will take place in Dolní Vítkovice from 2 to 5 July, will bring to Ostrava a line-up which has no precedent in the history of the festival. More than 160 international headliners will perform on 18 stages this year. Within the already full programme, however, the programme director has managed the almost mission impossible for this year’s edition.

Axwell, one of the key figures of the legendary Swedish House Mafia, will make his first appearance in Ostrava after years of negotiations, right on the main stage of Love by ČSOB, where he will move the crowds with his unforgettable sound that has shaped the shape of modern house music. Armin van Buuren, a global icon of the trance scene, brings his monumental set to Dolní Vítkovice, promising a hypnotic ride across genres and emotions. For the first time in the festival’s history, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – the world’s best DJ duo from Belgium, who have ruled the main stages from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival – will also arrive. Their sets are synonymous with massive energy, fire and an unstoppable show.

Showman Timmy Trumpet from Australia, gonna take EDM into unexpected positions with his vibrant live trumpet solos, turning the stage into pure chaos in its finest sense every time. Fans of the drum & bass genre will be in for a treat thanks to the performance of Sub Focus, one of the scene’s most respected producers whose sets regularly ‘rock’ stages across Europe. “We have added the best contemporary house DJ according to the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Claptone, and American legend MK to the line-up of Harmony House Square by Evropa 2,” adds Jiří Ramík, the festival’s programme director. The festival has also released the headliner packages for the individual stages, which include additional international performers. This concludes the list of foreign artists and at the same time publishes a complete list of all international stars.Harmony House Square by Evropa 2 has added to its line-up the best house DJ according to the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll — either Claptone or the American legend MK.

World premieres and a revolutionary live show

In 2025, Beats for Love will make history in the world electronic scene with several projects that prove that Beats for Love has transcended the classic festival format. It is becoming a venue for unique premieres and a world platform for remarkable projects.

One of the most ambitious points of this year’s line-up will be the world premiere of the unique A.M.C & Koven project, which is not only a unique moment of the festival, but also an extraordinary musical happening on a global level. A.M.C is considered one of the best talents in the drum & bass world and his sets are fast, precise and uncompromising. Koven, the project of producer Max Rowat and charismatic vocalist Katie Boyle, has won fans across genres with its unique combination of melodic dubstep, liquid drum & bass and emotive vocals. Their live shows straddle the line between euphoria and melancholy, often reminiscent of rock band concerts due to the energy and rawness of their performance.

On Beats for Love, these two worlds will meet in a completely new, never-before-heard form. It will be a live show that will combine the DJ precision of A.M.C with the vocal power and visual show of Koven. “This premiere has been tailor-made for the festival in Dolní Vítkovice and will not be experienced anywhere else – not in London, not in Berlin, not at Tomorrowland. Sometimes you come across a combination that makes immediate sense. We knew right away that it was going to be something special. When we found out that the premiere would be here, it was a powerful moment,” Ramík explains.

Another iconic piece of news will be a live show that will push the boundaries of electronic music. Used:Live, the new project of Belgian producer Used, combines original samples, synths and live instruments. The result is a raw, dynamic set that combines club energy with concert intensity. In addition, the popular Apashe will return to Ostrava this year with his brand new live show accompanied by a live brass band. “The combination of powerful orchestral music with electronic beats creates a powerful and unforgettable experience that feels like nothing else in festival acts,” adds Ramík.

Beats for Love Universe: a festival cosmos that will immerse you

This year the festival is not only about music – but also about discovering new worlds. The new Beats for Love Universe concept divides the venue into three unique spheres – Love, Space and Industrial – connected by the energetic boulevard known as Pulse. “We’ve worked a lot this year on how the whole venue feels as a whole. We’ve addressed every detail, from the set design and light installation, to the visual elements, to the style of performers, decorations and interactive zones. Each part of the venue has its own character, colours, mood and direction. We want everyone to find their own, whether they come for the rave atmosphere, a visual experience or just to switch off from the everyday hustle and bustle for a few hours,” says Kamil Rudolf, founder and director of the festival.

Techno Dome by Proud and a new dimension of electronics

Techno lovers should be ready for an unforgettable experience. Techno Dome by Proud is being radically transformed this year. The Stage will get its own identity – a new design, a new space, and most importantly, a several times higher budget. “We want to create an environment in the techno scene that is not just about the music, but about the overall atmosphere, deep experience and sensory immersion,” explains production director Martin Polach. The techno stage will draw on a brand new visual identity. Visitors can expect a combination of lights, smoke and laser projections that will transform the space into a pulsating digital temple.

Real legends of the techno genre will be heading to Ostrava this year. Richie Hawtin, the icon of minimal techno, will present his live show that decomposes the rhythm to the last atom. His sets are an experiment, a challenge and a ritual. The line-up will also feature other techno kings such as Ben Klock, DJ Rush and true legend Chris Liebling, who promise an uncompromising BPM assault from dusk till dawn.
