The organizers of the biggest music festival in the Czech and Slovak Republics have been announcing one foreign star after another for more than two months, and now, after the legendary Tiësto, another world-class megastar is coming! At the beginning of July, Robbert van de Corput, the owner of one of the biggest EDM publishing houses Revealed Recordings, who is known to all dance music fans as Hardwell, will perform in the industrial area of Dolní Vítkovice!
"Hardwell has won the global DJ Mag TOP 100 DJs poll twice in a row and has been in this ranking regularly since 2011. This is despite the fact that he stopped performing publicly between the years 2018 till 2022 and focused mainly on his production. We are very happy that after this break he will appear for the first time in the Czech Republic at our festival," comments Beats for Love festival CEO Kamil Rudolf on the publication of another huge name. The Dutch native has performed at the biggest festivals in the world and released 10 compilation albums as well as two documentaries during his career. As part of his production, he collaborated with such names as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Snoop Dogg, Timmy Trumpet, Martin Garrix and the metal band Metallica!
But Beats for Love has released far more names over the past month. On the Love stage, which is the main stage of the festival, the English DJ and producer Sub Focus returns after a year with his „right hand“ MC ID. "His performance last year was one of the highlights of the 2022 edition and received a huge positive response from the fans and at the same time a lot of requests for his return to Dolní Vítkovice, that's why we decided to invite him this year as well," comments director of marketing Matyáš Ožana on the announcement of this name. For instance, Klaudia Gawlas from Germany and Gary Beck from Scotland are heading to the techno stage, and the Future stage line up is being strengthened by Maddix, who works intensively with the newly confirmed Hardwell and Ilan Bluestone, whose booking was successful after more than 5 years.
After 7 years, the best name of the world hardcore scene Angerfist from the Netherlands returns to Ostrava, and finally the house star from UK Eats Everything will perform at the festival. „Angerfist was supposed to perform already last year as a replacement for BillX from France, who couldn’t arrive due to a strike at French airports. However, a coincidence prevented him from arriving as well, due to bad weather and canceled filghts. That’s why we didn’t hesitate to invite him to this year’s edition so that the fans could finally see him. Unfortunately, we dealt with a similar situation with Eats Everything, who fell ill right before the festival and therefore didn’t arrive in the end. Fortunately, we managed to arrange everything so that our visitors will enjoy his performance this year“ comments Rudolf on last year’s mishaps and this year’s decision. In the summer of 2023, the English Metrik and the Austrian Mefjus will perform on the Drum & Bass stage, as well as Tomawok and the legendary Top Cat on the Reggae 2 Jungle stage.
Currently, Beats for Love organizers sell standard festival pass, VIP festival pass, tickets to Love camp and Love village, as well as parking both at the festival and at individual camps.
