Charitable activities have been part of the Beats for Love festival for 8 years. Beats for Charity supports regional charitable institutions and individuals in difficult life situations. During the existence of Beats for Charity, the organizers reallocated over a million czech crowns to those in need. As part of charity projects, the organizers donated blood, helped with garden renovations in a retirement home, or made children smile with Christmas gifts. They also helped, for example, patients and the bereaved of the Strom života mobile hospice or patients of the Cardiology Department of the Ostrava City Hospital. The festival also supports the development of the disadvantaged – in the past deaf dancers, physically handicapped DJs or a blind singer performed on the festival’s stages.
