A dream came true: the incredible hitmaker Calvin Harris is heading to Beats for Love for the first time
The largest electronic dance music festival in the heart of Europe has revealed another global megastar who will perform at the 12th edition of this open-air celebration of dance and music. In addition to the headliners, organizers are introducing a number of improvements and innovations that will take Beats for Love one step further and boost its position on the map of unforgettable global cultural events. Fans who want to give their loved ones a piece of Beats for Love under the Christmas tree will also get the chance to do so this year.

Top class line-up: The festival will once again be graced by the world’s leading electronic music artists
This year, world-famous star, DJ, producer, and Grammy Award winner Calvin Harris will perform at Beats for Love for the first time. On the Love Stage by ČSOB, this Scottish native will put on a show that Ostrava has never seen before. “Calvin is the king of pop music with a refined sense for creating globally popular hits that top the charts. I am convinced that thanks to the great atmosphere of his performance, he will also conquer Ostrava,” added festival program director Jiří Ramík. However, it was no easy task for the organizers to reach an agreement with Harris. “This is a truly unique booking, because Calvin rarely performs in Europe. For example, he hasn’t performed at Tomorrowland, the most famous electronic dance music festival, in the last decade. And we have the honor of welcoming him to our main stage next summer,” explained Kamil Rudolf, the festival’s director.
Although the organizers of the Beats for Love Universe project focus on the design of the festival and the high artistic value of all accompanying performances and installations, the music line-up still plays a major role. It is therefore appropriate to repeat the previously announced headliners. For example, the masked star Marshmello and the world’s best DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike will not be missing. Fans of drum and bass will surely enjoy Turno, while trance enthusiasts will be thrilled by the performance of German icon Paul van Dyk. The icing on the cake will be a set by one of the icons of dark industrial techno, the mysterious producer SNTS.

Xmas in rhythm: one-day tickets and special packages available soon
The popular one-day tickets have been available since November 27. As for four-day tickets, the organizers report that the fourth wave of pre-sales is almost sold out. From the beginning of December, special Christmas packages will also be available, in which the purchase of two standard four-day tickets will also entitle the buyer to a voucher for festival merchandise worth CZK 400. “Christmas packages are a huge hit every year, and we expect great interest again this year. You definitely won’t find tickets at a better price, so we recommend not delaying your purchase,“ adds marketing director Beata Gillová.
