What a crazy idea! This was exactly the reaction that the director of the festival, Kamil Rudolf, got when he came up with the idea of a unique concept. He had a vision of presenting people with a giant electronic event that is accessible to everyone and instead of paying an entrance fee, visitors would pay for a reusable cup and. In 2013, a giant heart was introduced for the first time, which became a symbol not only of the first year of the BEATS FOR LOVE festival, but the festival remained with its updated version up until today!

Over the years, the festival has become more and more popular – not only because of the ticket price, the number of stages and the unique scenery of Dolni Vitkovice, but also because of the unique approach to visitors and its charitable overlap. That is why Beats for Charity was created. It has become an integral part of this magnificent project, which not only brings the best artists from all over the world to Ostrava every year, but also helps people in need from the Moravian-Silesian region through their charitable activities.
